Following the success of HydroTech Balkan 2014 from last month, Green World Conferences decided to run on the 26th of June the HydroTech Albania 2014. This conference and exhibition focuses on commercial opportunities and challenges brought about by the growing awareness of renewable energy issues and rapid, sustained growth of hydro energy sector in the Albania. The agenda will be focusing on new hydro investment, new legislations for hydro projects, licensing, as well as it will create platform for discussion about obstacles and opportunities in developing hydro projects in Albania.Details
Banjë HPP will be the first step in the development sequence of the Devoll Hydropower Project. It will use the existing cofferdam structure which will be raised to 175 m above sea level. HPP Banjë utilizes a head between 175 and 95 m above sea level. The dam will be constructed as an embankment dam with an impervious clay core with an approx. height of 80 m.Details
Kokël HPP is located in the narrow canyon in the middle of the Devoll Valley. It is the second and the smallest power plant of the Devoll Hydropower Project. Kokël Dam comprises an approx. 50 m high combined concrete and rock-fill dam with a fixed crest spillway. Kokël HPP utilizes a head between 350 and 295 m above sea levelDetails
Moglicë HPP is the upper and largest power plant of the DHP project. It utilizes a head of 300 m between 650 and 350 m above sea level. The 150 m high dam is an asphalt-core rock-filled structure and will be the highest of its kind in the world. The reservoir has a storage capacity of approx. 360 million m³.Details
Hidrocentrali Lapaj shfrytëzon ujërat e lumit të Bushtricës dhe ka një kapacitet të instaluar prej 13,62 MW, me një prodhim mesatar vjetor të energjisë të vlerësuar prej 49.865 MWh. Ky projekt është një investim me vlerë rreth 15 milionë euro i realizuar nga shoqëria koncensionare “Gjo-Spa Power” sh. p. k., pjesë e grupit italian ETEA. Hidrocentrali ka nisur punën dhe në të prodhohet energji e mjaftueshme për të mbuluar nevojat e më shumë se 22.000 familjeve.
